Hailing from the very birthplace of the venerable Canadian rock group it pays homage to, Road Apples formed in Kingston, Ontario during December 1992 and quickly established itself as the best, busiest and most sought after tribute show to The Tragically Hip. The momentum the band was able to build in the first half of 1993 ultimately helped catapult it to national status and success. In the wake of its concerts, word spread quickly that this was a band that was worth the price of admission. From June 1993 until August 1998, the band members made their collective living touring Canada on a full-time basis. From Newfoundland to Vancouver Island and northern Alberta to upstate New York, the band logged thousands of miles as it amassed a resume of close to 750 performances – leaving no doubt that Road Apples is a band that has earned its favourable reputation through years of hard touring. After 5 years of essentially living on the road, the band made a conscious decision to scale down its schedule to enable the members to focus on other life pursuits. While remaining active from the fall of 1998 through to present day, the band has been more selective in the venues and events it has performed at. As a result of Road Apples’ success in the mid-90’s, there has been a proliferation of other bands offering what is billed as a similar service to the market. However, there is one thing that ultimately distinguishes Road Apples from the other ‘Hip’ tribute bands: experience. Experience breeds confidence and confidence begets consistency. With over 1,000 performances under their belts, the members of this band have collectively honed their craft to a level unmatched by any of their competitors. Road Apples: Canada's most professional and celebrated tribute show to The Tragically Hip.

Marc Ekins has been performing across Canada, as well as in the States, Europe and the Caribbean islands. He has opened for great Canadian artists such as Great Big Sea, The Road Hammers, Aaron Pritchett, Chris Cummings, Julian Austin, Amy Skye just to name a few. His high energy and eclectic mix of music, (rock, country, blues, folk, Celtic and swing) makes for a show that covers a large demographic of music fans. Fast paced and fun, the audience is swept up in the show, and Marc works hard to get them dancing and singing along. Marc*s original songs have gotten rave reviews from fair and festival goers all over North America. Mixing in a group of cover tunes that compliments his originals, Marc*s show is an exciting work of art.

We would like to introduce you a brave young Warrior who is our first annual Aidan's Warrior Bash Warrior of Honour. At almost 10 years old, his name is Aidan Reil. He has a huge heart of gold; a loving son, a protective and proud big brother, protected little brother, a friendly and loyal friend to many, an all-around amazing kid! He's a smart & quick-witted young warrior, who loves doing everything a typical boy wants to do; play Minecraft, YouTube, loved to ride his bike and play in the park, to name a few... However, due to his unpredictable seizures, there are many things he can't do anymore for his safety. Aidan was recently diagnosed with stage 3 rare brain tumour, Gliomastosis Cerebri Anaplastic Astrocytoma and has just completed his 6th round of chemo. Aidan's Warrior Bash is focused on raising awareness and much needed funding for childhood cancer research and helping our local children, like Aidan, fighting these horrible monsters, get to their life-saving cancer treatment appointments.

With your help, we can give them a fighting chance!
